How to change audio settings in Skype

1. In the Skype program, click the Tools menu, and select the Options menuitem.
   

2. The Options window will appear. Select the Audio Settings option on the left. Here you can change the preferred device for your audio. Click the dropdown window and choose the device matching the table in Step 3.
   
3. The following table shows how different devices will appear under the drop down menu. If your device is NOT USB you need to select the name of your sound card, because the headset is connected to the sound card.
