How to identify your device - Phone


  1. Plug your Phone. Windows will detect the new device and will ask for a driver.
  2. Look at the Device Manager window. You should see one of the two following images. If your phone is still missing the driver, you will find it under "Other devices". If the driver is already installed, you will find it under "Sound, video and game controllers".
  3. If you can not see the device, try to plug the device in another USB connector. Use the USB connectors on the back of your computer. If you still can not see the device in the Device Manager the device or the USB controller may be faulty.
  4. Right click on the device and select Properties. The properties dialog will appear, select the Details tab. The Device Instance Id information will be already selected.
  5. With the VID_xxxx and PID_yyyy information use the table below to find the correct driver for your device:
